Louet Erica

Description

Louet Erica is a compact table loom with a maximum weaving width of 30 cm (11.8”) or 50 cm (19.7”). You can expand the loom to 4 shafts. This loom is a good next step after a rigid heddle loom.

The shafts are operated with toggles. The shed is 4.5 cm high and easy to pass a shuttle.

The reed hangs in a hinged bracket so that the weft is always pushed straight against the fell line. You can weave with any thickness of yarns by threading more or fewer threads through each dent. With an extension to 4 shafts you can weave numerous weave structures.

Louet Erica folds flat while the warp is on the loom, so it is easy to travel with, for example to a workshop. Folded up is 16 cm (6.3”) high

Louet Erica table loom is made of birch plywood and beech. It comes as an assembly package with:

• 2 or 4 shafts.
• Built-in raddle.
• Stainless steel reed 40/10 (10 dpi). If you need another dimension or density, you can find all available reeds here.
• 200 Texsolv heddles (150 mm). If you need more, you can buy them here.
• 16 warping strips.
• Stainless steel lease.
• Apron rods.

Notes

• For safety reasons during transport, we do not ship Erica loom assembled. You can assemble it easily by following the detailed instructions included in the package or by watching the relevant instructions video. The package includes screwdrivers and screws.
• All Erica 4 shaft looms now come as an Erica 2 shaft loom with the extra 2 shaft extension kits. Check all packaging, especially the extension kit tubes for parts.
• Erica loom is not supplied with a shuttle, threading hook or other warping tools, which you should purchase separately if needed.
• An optional floor stand which fits both sizes of the Erica is also available as well as a carry bag.
• Finally, if you are taking your first steps in weaving, consider buying the Erica Accessory Kit which includes everything you need to start weaving with Erica loom.

Please note that we cannot export Louët products to Switzerland, North America, Japan, and South Korea.
